Thanks for taking some time to chat with From the Green Room

  1. What’s the name of the band? Sig And The Fire Pilots
  2. Where are you from? Cannock UK . Pretty much smack bang in the middle of our Sceptred Isle
  3. What type of music do you play? We have many influences ..I have a saying (Try not to limit yourself) And so we throw a bit of everything in – Old Pyjamas Peas Tomatoes Mutton Beef And Trout ..We are a Rocky Poppy Reggae Bluesy Funky Band ….
  4. Introduce yourselves to the readers and tell us what you do in the band? Sig – Guitar/Vox .. Dave – Bass/Vox .. Duggie – Drums/Vox
  5. This is probably a common question but one that most want to know, what musical influences did you have growing up, and what are some now? Influences growing up – I suppose I would cite my parents music – Mom,Ray Charles to PerryComo to Nat King Cole – Dad, Trad Jazz – Satchmo Barber Ball And Bilk And later Lynott Marley Lennon/Mcartney Tilbrook and of course .. Tommy Vance
  6. Have you always been into music? Was it something that just came to you naturally? Ever since I can ever remember , My junior school music teacher once told my mom “I was surrounded by music” , I remember asking every one in class if they would like to join my band , Lined em all up in the bike sheds ( But didn’t know what else to do) I was 9 years old .. Lol
  7. What can we expect from the band in the rest of 2022 and beyond into 2023? Click Bait is our first single , We are just in the middle of filming a video for the next single –Almost Out Of Time , We have a few gigs and festivals lined up , But we all reckon that – Almost out out of time could be the one …
  8. For someone who wants to know more about the band, were can they find you at? And were can they find your music? All the usual media sites ..For Music-YouTube, Spotify,Soudcloud , For Media – Facebook,Twitter,Instagram ..Just type Sig into google or any search and hey presto ,We pop up ..Lol
  9. Let’s answer some fun questions, what is your all time favorite band? For me –Sig, I would have to say Squeeze,Beatles,Early Police, Thin Lizzy to Led Zeppelin – Dave, Chilli Peppers, Queen to Funkadelic. Dug – Sound Garden, Green Day to Sex Pistols ..
  10. If you could tour with any band and open or have them open for you, who would you choose? Always had an itch for Chrissie Hynde and The Pretenders , I feel it would work really Well .. That sort of song based rock with punky overtones ..Cheers Sig-Dave N Duggie
